NAMM 2019 Recap!

2019 is off to a great start, thanks to another successful Winter NAMM show! We launched some incredible products at the National Association of Music Merchants in Anaheim, California and we want to make sure you know all about them!

The new Memoir Series adds vintage-inspired elements to the Westerly Collection, like the 1920s-esque Guild Script Logo. The P-240 is a small-bodied parlor guitar built with a solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides with a gloss finish, 12 fret-to-body neck and slotted headstock. Looking for something a bit bigger? The DS-240 is a retro-looking slope shoulder dreadnought with a warm, clear and inviting tone.

The Deluxe Series adds a little something extra to our acoustic lineup. The dreadnought-sized D-260E and D-260CE feature a solid spruce top and an arched striped ebony back; the jumbo-sized F-250E and F-250CE feature a solid spruce top and an arched flamed maple back. Premium appointments include a mother-of-pearl rosette, Guild Peak headstock logo and pau ferro fingerboard and bridge.

Last, but certainly not least, are the new additions to the Guild USA lineup. The F-55 Maple and F-512 Maple are made on the same arch press that’s been a part of Guild manufacturing since 1985. These two flamed maple models provide sharply focused trebles and an articulate mid-range, perfect for a full, centralized, harp-like sound. The F-40 Traditional features solid spruce and mahogany and is handsomely appointed with a tortoiseshell pickguard, rosette, and binding.
