Guild at NAMM 2015

This was the biggest year for Guild at Winter NAMM yet, and the Anaheim Convention Center was buzzing with all of the latest Guild gossip!

We hope you enjoy these behind-the-scenes pictures of the Guild booth and the people behind all of the magic!

Debuted at NAMM this year were the Starfire III, IV and V in Black finish–one of the most sought after color options of the Starfires. Once hard to find, Guild enthusiasts everywhere will now be able to find the Starfire in this sleek finish at a local Guild dealer.

Also new for 2015 was the T-50 Slim, the only non-cutaway model within the Newark St. Collection. Based on a mid-1960s model, the T-50 features an arched spruce top and arched mahogany back, mahogany sides, and a classic sunburst finish.

The S-100 Polara is now available in Black and White finishes (the former made famous by Soundgarden guitarist Kim Thayil).

And last but certainly not least, we have formally announced the first five models that we’ll be building in California: the iconic M-20 and D-20 (formerly called the D-25). Shortly after, we’ll work on D-55s, F-55 & F-55 Maples (previously called F-50 & F-50R), and F-512 & F-512 Maple (previously called the F-412). Ren Ferguson was on hand to talk shop with dealers, artists, and Guild enthusiasts alike, and his energy was contagious.

Enjoy a round up of this year’s videos below. We’ll be adding to this playlist as the videos become available, so make sure to check back!

I’ve recently seen some video of jazz guitarist Rez Abbasi with his acoustic quartet playing a Guild acoustic/electric with a thin body. I would love to know what model guitar this is. Thanks for any help.
